Gear Flow Meter

The (circular) gear flow meter belongs to a type of volumetric flow meter (it's also known as the positive displacement flow meter). It is a volumetric meter used for the continuous or discontinuous measurement and control of liquid flow in pipeline. It has many advantages such as wide range of measurement, high accuracy, small pressure loss, strong viscosity adaptability, high temperature and high viscosity liquid measurement, convenient calibration and so on. It is applicable to the flow measurement of petroleum, chemical industry, chemical fiber, transportation, commerce, food, medicine and health and other industries.
This series gear flow meter is equipped with pulse transmission and digital LCD meter head. It can not only provide the stable and accurate pulse signal output, but also display the instantaneous, accumulated liquid flow directly on site, and provide a variety of signal remote transmission function. It can also be matched with the electric display instrument to realize the remote  transmission and centralized control of cumulative, quantitative and instantaneous flow, but also measure the liquid with high temperature and high viscosity. The excellent performance of the gear flow meter can be well adapted to the various complex working conditions.

Features:

The (circular) gear flowmeter has high measurement accuracy and is suitable for measuring the flow of high-viscosity  media. The greater the viscosity of the medium being measured, the smaller the leakage error and the more  beneficial it is for the measurement.

The main bodies of flow meters for different liquids (acid, alkali, salt, organic solution, etc.) can be made of  different materials, such as cast iron, cast steel, stainless steel, etc. According to different working conditions,  high-temperature type and high-viscosity type can be selected. The display types are selectable: pointer display  and LCD display.

It is not suitable for fluids containing solid particles, Solid particles can jam gears, making it impossible to measurethe flow rate, f the iauid medium being measured is mixed with gas, it will also cause measurement errors.
